Warranty-transfer deadlines
Slab foundation warranties
The completed transfer request, supporting documents, and fee must be submitted within 60 days after closing.
Pier-and-beam warranties
The completed transfer request, supporting documents, and fee must be submitted within 30 days after closing.
How to request a warranty transfer
- Complete the warranty-transfer form on this page.
- Provide a copy of the Accu Pier warranty certificate.
- Provide proof of closing showing the transfer of ownership and closing date.
- Pay the $175 warranty-transfer fee through the secure Square payment page.
- Wait for written confirmation from Accu Pier that the transfer has been reviewed and approved.
Important: Payment of the transfer fee does not by itself transfer or reinstate a warranty. A transfer is effective only after Accu Pier receives the required documents, confirms eligibility, and provides written approval.
Expired pier & beam warranty extensions
If an Accu Pier pier & beam warranty expired within the last 12 calendar months, the homeowner may request a reinspection. If the property qualifies, any adjustment Accu Pier determines is needed to the previously warranted work is included, and the warranty may be extended for a new three- or five-year term.
- Three-year warranty extension: $3,000
- Five-year warranty extension: $4,000
Slab warranty reinstatement after a home sale
An Accu Pier slab warranty that was not transferred after the home was sold may be eligible for reinstatement. Eligibility is reviewed case by case, and a request is not automatically disqualified solely because of the time elapsed since the sale. If the home qualifies, the reinstatement fee is $3,000. Any adjustment Accu Pier determines is needed within the previously repaired areas is included in the reinstatement fee.
Contact Accu Pier before making payment. Warranty extensions and reinstatements are subject to reinspection, eligibility review, and written approval.
